I’m Naisula Lepariyo, a Consultant and Keynote Speaker working at the intersection of gender, wealth, climate justice, and education. I draw from a dual upbringing in an indigenous pastoralist community in Kenya and formal education in Belgium and Kenya to design ethical, inclusive strategies for development. My approach blends grassroots insight with global frameworks
I bring expertise in development evaluation, grant-making, social entrepreneurship, and policy advisory. My work bridges the worlds of academia, grassroots innovation, and global development, and together, we can push the boundaries of what’s possible

I was born into the indigenous Samburu community in Northern Kenya, where I spent my early years balancing two worlds—herding livestock and learning in the classroom. I witnessed the beauty of abundance during the rainy seasons and the stark reality of droughts that left my community dependent on humanitarian aid.
But what shaped me most was the resilience, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of my people. That spirit continues to inspire everything I do. I believe deeply in our world’s interconnectedness and the importance of sustainable, self-driven development that emerges from within communities themselves.
At just 23, I started a small business to fund my studies, which led me to earn a Master’s degree in Development Evaluation and Management from the University of Antwerp in Belgium.
Since then, I’ve continued to advocate for self-reliance and the expansive use of social entrepreneurship to develop context-specific solutions that help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in a way that’s meaningful, rooted, and lasting.
