Gender-Responsive Technology & Financial Inclusion

Worked on a project exploring the intersection of solar-powered mobile connectivity and women’s financial inclusion in refugee camps. The project enabled the secure delivery of emergency cash transfers and increased women’s participation in economic activities.
Demonstrated how sustainable energy and digital tools can advance gender-inclusive resilience in crisis contexts.

UKAID Third Party Monitoring

Served as Senior Analyst for UKAID’s third-party remote monitoring project in Somalia, focused on high-risk areas and real-time decision-making. In absence of physical monitoring high-frequency data was utilized to strengthen program efficiency, inclusion, and gender-transformative approaches. Specifically led enumerator training, conducted data analysis, and presented findings to implementing partners to enable risk monitoring and vital project adjustment.

I serve as a Bench Consultant and Gender Integration Expert with the Global Center for Gender Equality. My work focuses on gender integration, ethical investment, and resilience-building in pastoralist communities and livestock systems. I support grant-making, scoping studies, and strategic partnerships targeting marginalized populations in arid and semi-arid regions.

Social Impact Advisor

Consultant and advisor for Common Light Pictures on the global impact campaign of the feature film IMPURE. The campaign leverages film as a powerful educational tool to address menstrual hygiene and early-stage gender inequality. I support on partnership development and advises on strategic approaches to maximize the film’s impact in schools and community spaces worldwide.
